18 E Howell Avenue

Built in 1917, this bungalow was completely renovated in 2006 in the arts and crafts style. Much of the woodwork in the main house is custom, just check out the size of those exposed posts and beams in the timber frame construction. There is an easy, open floor plan, a large upstairs loft that serves bedrooms and a bathroom, a first-floor master suite and easy access to the backyard, 18 East Howell is a wonderful blend of old and new.  The stucco fireplace and accompanying light fixtures are swoon worthy.

Don’t leave without walking to the backyard and the 770 sq ft stand alone guest house (formerly a dilapidated one car garage used as a shed) completed in early 2023.  Built on two levels, it features a first floor living space, full modern kitchen and bathroom with sleeping quarters on the second level.  The old barn wood makes a second appearance in the beams that stretch over the living and sleeping spaces while first floor folding doors lead to a flagstone patio and fire pit.
